Haileigh Stokes
Haileigh Stokes, the heart and soul of The Physiotherapy Lab, brings over a decade of experience and a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals. Her journey, starting from playing various sports on the Sunshine Coast to spending time at the physio clinic, instilled in her a deep understanding of injuries both big and small. This inspires her patient-centric approach to creating individualised rehabilitation plans for each client.
Her expertise spans a wide range, from treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries to tackling spinal issues and managing lymphoedema. Over the past five years, she has also developed a specialisation in Vestibular Physiotherapy, helping people combat dizziness, improve balance, and even return to school or sport after concussions.
Haileigh believes in effective communication and a hands-on approach, focusing on pinpointing the problem’s source before employing manual and exercise-based therapy for optimal recovery. Opening The Physiotherapy Lab in 2023 was a dream come true for her, and with the on-site pool and gym, she has created a one-stop shop for complete rehabilitation across all stages.
She leads by example, maintaining an active lifestyle with triathlon and running events on her 2024 calendar and regular strength training sessions. In her spare time, you can find her riding the waves, exploring the countryside, or hitting the trails on the coast.
Haileigh is more than just a physiotherapist; she’s a partner in your journey towards optimal health and mobility.
